RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesia's badminton campaign in the U15 boys' singles at the Jaya Raya Junior International Grand Prix 2026 continued strongly as Revie Israel Lumoindong secured a place in the quarterfinals after a commanding straight-games victory on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.

Playing at the PB Jaya Raya Sports Hall in Bintaro, South Tangerang, Revie defeated Thailand's Patsakorn Watcharapraphaiphan 21-11, 21-18 in just 24 minutes to book his spot in the last eight.

"I played better than yesterday and was more comfortable anticipating my opponent's pressure," Revie said after the match on Wednesday, July 8, as quoted by Antara.

The young Indonesian shuttler said he had adapted much better to the court conditions compared with his opening-round performance. In the round of 32 on Tuesday, July 7, Revie defeated Singapore's Jung Yang Ong 21-5, 21-5 in 21 minutes.

His victory over Patsakorn sets up an all-Indonesian quarterfinal against Max Lewis Chandra. Max advanced after overcoming Malaysia's Tieh Sam in a hard-fought 47-minute match, winning 21-17, 15-21, 21-8.

Despite his impressive run, Revie said he has not set a specific target for the Pembangunan Jaya Raya Junior International Grand Prix 2026. "My goal is simply to play my best because there are many players who are even stronger," he concluded. ***
