Aldila and Andreozzi booked their place in the last eight after defeating eighth seeds Jackson Tracy of the United States and Anna Danilina of Kazakhstan 7-6(6), 5-7, 6-3 in the second round at the All England Club on Sunday, July 5, 2026.

The round-of-16 encounter was tightly contested from the outset. Both pairs held serve throughout the opening set, forcing a tie-break after the score reached 6-6. Aldila and Andreozzi led 6-4 before closing out the tie-break 8-6 to take the first set, Antara reported.

The second set was equally balanced. After the score was tied at 5-5, Tracy and Danilina converted their only break point of the set to move ahead 6-5 before holding serve to force a deciding set.

In the final set, the Indonesia-Argentina pair remained composed. They broke their opponents' serve in the seventh game to take a 4-3 lead, held their own serve, and sealed the match 6-3 to advance to the quarterfinals.

Statistics showed Aldila and Andreozzi were more efficient in converting their opportunities. They won 81 percent of points on their first serve, claiming 56 of 69 points, and finished the match with 103 total points compared with 92 for Tracy and Danilina.

Although they recorded only three aces compared with their opponents' eight, Aldila and Andreozzi committed just three unforced errors, while Tracy and Danilina made 12. Both pairs finished with nine winners.

In the quarterfinals, Aldila and Andreozzi will face either top seeds Andrea Vavassori and Sara Errani of Italy or Australia's Marc Polmans and Storm Hunter. ***
