The run will take place in Bali, highlighting the island’s global reputation as a tourism icon while showcasing Indonesia’s commitment to sport and healthy living.

“Indonesia is proud to be part of the Asian Games Fun Run series in Asia,” President of the Indonesian Olympic Committee (NOC Indonesia), Raja Sapta Oktohari, said as quoted by Antara on Wednesday, June 10., 2026.

He emphasized that Bali was chosen not only as a venue but as a symbol of Indonesia’s spirit, beauty, and openness to the world in welcoming the upcoming Games.

The event will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Bali Collection in Nusa Dua under the concept of a Sunset Fun Run, offering participants the unique experience of running against the backdrop of Bali’s iconic evening skies.

The initiative aims to build excitement for the Asian Games while encouraging active and healthy lifestyles among the public.

Chair of the Organizing Committee for the Asian Games Fun Run Road to Aichi–Nagoya 2026, Tabitha Sumendap, highlighted the appeal of the Bali edition.

“We want to deliver a different experience. It’s not just about running, but also enjoying Bali’s warm and beautiful atmosphere at sunset. This is a blend of sport, healthy living, and Indonesia’s natural beauty,” she said.

The event is supported by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games Organizing Committee (AINAGOC), reflecting regional collaboration toward the success of the Games.

Venue support comes from Injourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), reinforcing Bali’s role in promoting sport tourism.
