RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – RRQ Kazu, EVOS Divine, and Bigetron by Vitality are the Indonesian representatives set to compete against nine other top teams in the Grand Finals of the Free Fire World Series Southeast Asia (FFWS SEA) 2026 Spring. The tournament, taking place in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, serves as the stage for the battle for the Southeast Asian championship title and a ticket to the world competition.

As reported by Antara, a total of 12 teams are scheduled to compete in the Point Rush format on Saturday, May 30, and the Champion Rush format on Sunday, May 31. The total prize pool is USD 300,000.

Bigetron by Vitality became the first Indonesian team to secure a spot in the grand finals thanks to a consistent performance throughout the knockout stage. RRQ Kazu followed suit after successfully improving their performance and bouncing back from underwhelming results in the early weeks of the competition.

EVOS Divine faced a tougher path to Vietnam. The 2025 Esports World Cup (EWC): Free Fire champions only secured their Grand Finals ticket on the final day of the fourth week of the Knockout stage after holding onto a spot in the top six of the standings.

The competition is expected to be fierce, as Thailand and Vietnam each send four teams to the final round. Team Falcons and All Gamers Global are Thailand’s mainstays, while Vietnam relies on the strength of GOW Esports, Team Flash, Secret WAG, and GAM x PE, who have performed consistently throughout the tournament.

Besides these two nations, Malaysia’s Aurora Gaming could be a dark horse. The aggressive play they displayed in the final week makes the team a worthy contender to watch.

Despite facing tough opponents, Indonesia’s chances of reclaiming regional dominance remain open. RRQ Kazu, EVOS Divine, and Bigetron by Vitality previously dominated the top three spots at EWC 2025, with EVOS Divine emerging as world champion, RRQ Kazu as runner-up, and Bigetron by Vitality taking third place.

This season’s Grand Finals also introduce a format change to Champion Rush. Teams must now accumulate at least 90 points to qualify for the championship, up from the previous 80-point threshold.

This tournament also serves as a qualifier for the EWC 2026: Free Fire, set to take place in Paris, France, this coming July. The top eight teams will secure a spot in the event, while EVOS Divine has already secured their place as the defending world champions.
