RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Indonesian Volleyball Federation (PBVSI) has called up 16 players for the men’s national team training camp, as the Garuda squad prepares for two major international tournaments in 2026.

The team will first compete in the AVC Nations Cup in India this June, followed by the SEA V League 2026, which will be staged in two rounds: July 15–19 in the Philippines and July 22–26 in Indonesia.

PBVSI’s Deputy Performance Development Head Loudry Maspaitella confirmed that the men’s team will be led by new Brazilian coach Sergio Veloso.

The training camp is scheduled to begin on May 21, 2026, at the Jenderal Kunarto Volleyball Center in Sentul, Bogor, West Java.

Star opposite hitter Rivan Nurmulki returns to the national roster, alongside veteran setter Nizar Julfikar. In addition to seasoned players, PBVSI has also given opportunities to three newcomers -- Fauzan Nibras, Putra Bagus Hidayatullah, and Raihan Rizky Attorif -- to experience the senior team environment.
