RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Indonesian national esports team secured two additional gold medals at the Southeast Asia Esports Nations Cup (ENC) 2026 on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The victories came from the Teamfight Tactics (TFT) and Crossfire: Legends categories, further solidifying Indonesia's standing in the regional competition organized by the Southeast Asia Esports Federation (SEAEF).

These latest achievements add to Indonesia's previous medal haul, which included a gold and silver in PUBG Mobile Solo, as well as a bronze in PUBG Mobile Duo.

The Indonesian Crossfire: Legends squad secured their gold medal following a final against the host nation, Vietnam. Indonesia advanced to the championship round after defeating Malaysia with a decisive 10-4 score in the semifinals.

In the Best of Three (BO3) Grand Final, Indonesia faced early adversity, losing the first game 3-10. However, the squad displayed remarkable resilience, rebounding with a 10-6 victory in the second game to force a decider. Indonesia ultimately clinched the third game, securing the gold medal.

Coach Iqbal Mauldhan Yusup attributed the success to rigorous preparation. "The preparation for SENC Crossfire Legends certainly involved practicing through scrims and reviewing participating countries... that really helped us achieve the gold medal," he said, as quoted by Antara.

The gold-medal-winning Crossfire: Legends roster features a talented lineup including Gede Bagus Panji Narajaya and Ibnu Qayyim Al Jauziah. They are joined by Kautsar Faruqurrohman Ekatama and Muhammad Ilyas Alfarizi, who both played pivotal roles in the team's success. Rounding out the championship squad are Riddho Putra Muharam and Tubagus Mochammad Cipta, completing the six-man roster that secured victory for Indonesia.

In the Teamfight Tactics (TFT) category, Indonesian athlete Stefanus Aditya Witjaksono demonstrated tactical mastery to claim the top spot on the leaderboard.

Despite a slow start in the first match, Stefanus executed a brilliant mid-tournament turnaround to dominate the field and secure his lead. He began the competition in Match 1 by finishing in 7th place, earning just 2 points.

However, he quickly recovered in Match 2 by taking 1st place and adding 8 points to his score. He maintained this momentum through Match 3, where he again finished in 1st place to claim another 8 points and finalize his victory.

This consistent performance in the final two matches allowed Stefanus to accumulate the highest total points, ensuring the gold medal for Indonesia. ***
