RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta -Indonesian Honda Asia rider Veda Ega Pratama delivered an impressive performance at the Spanish Moto3 race on Sunday, April 26, 2026, finishing sixth at the Jerez Circuit.

According to Antara, starting from 17th on the grid, the 17-year-old from Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta, made a brilliant start, climbing to 14th place in the opening lap. He continued to improve steadily, breaking into the top ten midway through the race. By consistently sharpening his lap times, Veda surged into fifth place before the final laps.

A fierce battle unfolded in the closing stages as Veda fought for fifth against Alvaro Carpe. Carpe’s maneuver on the last lap forced Veda to settle for sixth, just behind the Spanish rider. Despite the setback, the result marked a strong achievement for the Indonesian racer, who showed resilience and skill throughout the race.

Local rider Maximo Quiles dominated the event, securing victory at his home circuit.
