Among the standout performers was Daniel Simanjuntak from North Sumatra, who captured double gold in the men’s 5,000 meters (14:35.25) and 10,000 meters (31:20.79).

Marciano emphasized the strategic importance of athletics for Indonesia in multi-sport events. “Athletics is a strategic sport for Indonesia in every multi-event competition. Therefore, I hope more athletes from PASI can achieve success at the global level," he said.
"May this achievement continue in upcoming international championships. I am confident athletics will soon become Indonesia’s medal powerhouse,” he concluded.
