Indonesia Names 26-Player Squad for AFF U-17 Championship Push

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Indonesian U-17 national team has finalized a 26-player squad for the 2026 AFF U-17 Championship, as the country targets another regional title ahead of the tournament kicking off in mid-April.

According to the official Instagram account @timnasindonesia on Tuesday, April 7, 202y, head coach Kurniawan Dwi Yulianto selected a total of 26 players for the competition.

In goal, Indonesia will rely on three goalkeepers: Syahdan Caesar, Noah Leo Duvert and Abdillah Ishak, Antara reported.

The defensive line features nine players: Pandu Aryo, Putu Ekayana, Farik Rizqi, Shoyyo Himawan, Zidane Raditya, Farrel Luckyta, Made Arbi, Handri Dimas and Peres Akwila.

Meanwhile, seven midfielders have been named: Fardan Farras, Girly Andrade, Keanu Senjaya, Miraj Rizky, Chico Jericho, Al Faruqi Rangkayo and Aldredo Naraya.

Up front, Indonesia have also called seven attackers: I Komang Semadi, Dava Yunna, Ridho, Sean Rahman Castot, Fardan Ary, Ichiro Akbar and Mierza Firjatullah.

At the 2026 AFF U-17 Championship, Indonesia are placed in Group A alongside Vietnam, Malaysia and Timor Leste.

Indonesia are aiming to reclaim the title after previously winning the tournament in 2018 and 2022, both editions held on home soil.

The Garuda Muda squad are scheduled to face Timor Leste on April 13, Malaysia on April 16 and Vietnam on April 19, with all matches set for 7:30 p.m. Jakarta time.
