Head coach Muhammad Dhaarma Raj said the team is prioritizing recovery ahead of the crucial last-four clash.

“There are two full days to rest and restore the players’ condition. Hopefully we can advance to the final,” Dhaarma said in a statement from the Indonesian Hockey Association (FHI) in Jakarta on Monday, April 6, as quoted by Antara.

Sri Lanka reached the semifinals as Group B winners, finishing above Uzbekistan, Bangladesh, and Taiwan with two wins and one loss (six points).

Indonesia secured second place in Group A with three wins and one loss from four matches (nine points), in a group that also includes Oman, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Kazakhstan.

Group A is topped by Oman, which defeated Indonesia 4-1 and collected nine points, with one match remaining against Kazakhstan on Tuesday.

Indonesia booked both a semifinal spot and qualification for the 2026 Asian Games after defeating host Thailand 1-0 in Bangkok. The decisive goal came from captain Aulia Akbar Al Ardh, who scored through a penalty corner.
