RRI.CO.ID, Bekasi - The Indonesian sport climbing team is gearing up for a major test, with the Federation of Indonesian Sport Climbing (FPTI) officially dispatching 16 athletes to compete in the Asian Games 2026 Qualification Tournament, which also doubles as the World Climbing Asia Championship Qualifier in Meishan, China, starting April 9.
The squad will compete across three disciplines -- speed, lead, and boulder -- as they aim to secure more spots for the upcoming Asian Games. So far, three Indonesian climbers have already booked their tickets through the 2026 World Cup series: Ravianto (men’s boulder), Putra Tri Rahmadani (men’s lead), and Sukma Lintang (women’s lead).
