RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesian rider Veda Ega Pratama has etched his name into the record books, becoming the first Indonesian to stand on a Moto3 World Championship podium after finishing third at the Brazilian Grand Prix in Goiânia, Brazil, on Sunday, March 22, 2026.

Racing for Honda Team Asia, Veda’s achievement propelled him to the third place in the overall standings with 27 points -- just one behind Marco Morelli of CFMOTO Gaviota Aspar Team, Antara reported.

Championship leader Maximo Quiles, also from CFMOTO Gaviota Aspar, holds 45 points.

Veda’s tally comes from two strong performances: fifth place in Thailand (11 points) and his historic third-place finish in Brazil (16 points).

His podium marks the first time an Indonesian rider has broken into the top three of the FIM World Championship Grand Prix standings.

Next, Veda will compete at the Moto3 Grand Prix of the Americas in Texas from March 27–29, where he aims to continue his momentum.
