Mandalika Circuit to Host GT World Challenge Asia in May 2026

RRI.CO.ID, Central Lombok - Indonesia’s Mandalika International Circuit is set to welcome one of Asia’s most prestigious motorsport events, as the GT World Challenge Asia officially lands in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, from May 1–3, 2026.

The race will bring together world-class GT cars and professional drivers, further cementing Mandalika’s reputation as a premier destination for sport tourism.

“This event showcases high-performance racing machines and top-tier drivers in an adrenaline-filled competition, while strengthening Mandalika’s position as Indonesia’s leading sport tourism hub,” President Director of the Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA), Priandi Satria, said in Central Lombok on Friday, March 13, 2026, as quoted by Antara.

The GT World Challenge Asia is widely regarded as one of the most competitive GT racing championships in the region. Satria invited motorsport fans and the wider public to experience the international racing atmosphere firsthand. “We encourage all enthusiasts to come and feel the excitement of world-class racing at Mandalika International Circuit,” he added.

The 4.3-kilometer track will feature fierce competition among iconic supercars such as Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, and Mercedes-AMG GT3. With its coastal backdrop, the event promises not only thrilling races but also a unique viewing experience.
