RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesia’s rising tennis star Janice Tjen, teaming up with Taiwan’s Chan Hao-Ching, delivered a commanding performance to secure a spot in the women’s doubles round of 16 at the Indian Wells Open 2026, on Friday, March 6, in California, United States. The duo swept past Katarzyna Piter of Poland and Andreja Klepac of Slovenia in straight sets, 6–4, 6–2.

Quoting Antara, Janice and Chan set the tone early with a dominant serving display. According to WTA statistics, they won 88 percent of points on their first serve compared to just 56 percent for their opponents.

Their second-serve efficiency was also superior, at 67 percent against Piter/Klepac’s 62 percent. After edging the first set 6–4, the pair surged in the second, stringing together five consecutive points to build a 5–1 lead before closing out the match 6–2.
