RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesian cyclist Ayustina Delia Priatna demonstrated consistency and resilience as she retained the coveted yellow jersey after completing the second stage of the Biwase Tour of Vietnam 2026 on Thursday, March 5, 2026. Covering 150 kilometers in Thu Dau Mot City, Ayustina finished 12th, just three seconds behind stage winner Thi That Nguyen of Vietnam, who clocked 3 hours 49 minutes 28 seconds.

Despite missing out on a podium finish, Ayustina’s overall lead remains intact thanks to her victory in the opening stage in Ho Chi Minh City a day earlier. She now tops the general classification with a total time of 6 hours 31 minutes 04 seconds, holding a five-second advantage over Elizabeth Le Min Liau of Singapore Women’s Academy. Nguyen sits third, trailing by 2 minutes 15 seconds.

In the points classification, Ayustina is second with 33 points, behind Nguyen who leads with 47. Other Indonesian riders also completed the second stage with varied results: Nihayatuzzain Asshofi placed 25th, Ida Ayu Manik Laksmi Dewi 26th, Dewika Mulya Sova 34th, and Andini Putri Anatasya 37th.

In the overall standings, Andini ranks 23rd, followed by Ida Ayu (28th), Dewika (31st), and Nihayatuzzain (32nd).

Indonesia continues to lead the team classification with a combined time of 19 hours 38 minutes 41 seconds, edging Singapore Women’s Academy by eight seconds. The Biwase Tour of Vietnam 2026, a UCI 2.2 category race, features five stages and will conclude on March 8. ***
