RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesia is sending a 14-player squad, 13 main draw entries plus one additional representative, to the 2026 All England Open Badminton Championships, blending experienced campaigners with a wave of first-time contenders at one of badminton’s most prestigious tournaments.

Quoting Antara, the BWF Super 1000 event will take place at Utilita Arena Birmingham in Birmingham, the UK, from March 3 to 8, drawing elite players from around the world.

Among the most anticipated debuts is men’s singles player Alwi Farhan, the reigning Indonesia Masters 2026 champion. He said he is in prime condition and ready for his first appearance at the All England.

Men’s doubles pair Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin will also make their debut, aiming to leave an early mark. Other Indonesian players set for their first All England campaign include Rahmat Hidayat, Meilysa Trias Puspitasari, and mixed doubles pair Amri Syahnawi/Nita Violina Marwah.

Indonesia’s campaign will also be anchored by established players, including men’s singles contender Jonatan Christie and women’s singles player Putri Kusuma Wardani.

In men’s doubles, former All England champions Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri are set to compete, while mixed doubles pair Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu add further depth.

According to a statement from the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) on Monday, March 1, the players have already undergone court adaptation sessions to adjust to venue conditions ahead of the tournament.
