RRI.CO.ID, Bangkok - Indonesia confirmed its dominance at the Thailand Masters 2026, clinching the overall championship at Nimibutr Stadium in Bangkok on Sunday, February 1. Indonesian shuttlers captured four titles at the BWF Super 300 tournament, underscoring the country’s strength in badminton.

The women’s doubles pair Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi and Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti delivered the first victory, overcoming China’s Bao Lijing and Li Yijing in a hard-fought match. After dropping the opening game 15-21, Fadia and Tiwi rallied to win 21-15, 21-18.

In men’s doubles, Leo Rolly Carnando and Bagas Maulana triumphed in an all-Indonesian final against Raymond Indra and Nikolaus Joaquin. Leo and Bagas took the first game 21-10 after breaking away from a tight start.

Although Raymond and Joaquin led early in the second game, Leo and Bagas mounted a comeback to secure the match 21-17. The 2025 Australian Open champions, Raymond and Nikolaus, had to settle for the runner-up position.

Indonesia’s third title came in mixed doubles, where Adnan Maulana and Indah Cahya Sari Jamil defeated compatriots Bobby Setiabudi and Melati Daeva Oktavianti.

Adnan and Indah prevailed in a three-game battle, 18-21, 21-19, 21-17. “Thank God we were able to win here. The experiences we gained from previous matches finally paid off here,” Indah said after the match.

The final Indonesian title was secured by rising star Moh Zaki Ubaidillah, known as Ubed, who edged Thailand’s Panitchaphon Teeraratsakul in a nail-biting men’s singles clash. Ubed won 21-19, 20-22, 21-19 to seal Indonesia’s fourth championship.

Meanwhile, India’s Devika Sihag claimed the women’s singles crown after Malaysia’s Goh Jin Wei retired with the score at 21-8, 6-3.
