RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesia will send 13 players to compete at the All England 2026, scheduled to take place in Birmingham, England, from March 3 to 8, 2026. Several members of the squad are set to make their debut at the world’s oldest badminton tournament.

Indonesia last captured All England titles in 2024 through Jonatan Christie in men’s singles and Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri in men’s doubles. In the 2025 edition, however, the Red and White failed to defend their success as Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana finished runners-up and Jonatan Christie exited in the second round.

For the 2026 campaign, the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) has fielded a relatively complete lineup, particularly in the doubles sectors. Alongside established senior players, several young shuttlers earned their spots following significant improvements in their world rankings over recent tournaments.

Among the emerging names are Alwi Farhan, currently ranked world No. 14, Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin at No. 17, and Febi Setianingrum/Rachel Allessya Rose at No. 36. The trio has shown consistent progress across international competitions throughout the 2025 season and early 2026.

Alwi Farhan and Raymond/Nikolaus recorded title-winning and runner-up finishes at the Super 500 Indonesia Masters and Super 300 Thailand Masters. Meanwhile, Rachel/Febi claimed the 2025 Australia Open title and advanced to the semifinals of the 2026 Indonesia Masters.

The 2026 All England will mark the first Super 1000 appearance at the prestigious tournament for Alwi Farhan, Raymond/Nikolaus, and Rachel/Febi. Their participation is expected to strengthen Indonesia’s competitiveness on the elite global badminton stage.

In men’s singles, Indonesia will be represented by Jonatan Christie and Alwi Farhan, while Putri Kusuma Wardani will compete in women’s singles. The men’s doubles lineup features Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri, Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Mohammad Reza Pahlevi Isfahani, Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana, Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin, and Rahmat Hidayat/Muhammad Rian Ardianto.

In women’s doubles, Indonesia will rely on Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari, Febi Setianingrum/Rachel Allessya Rose, and Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti/Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi. The mixed doubles pairs are Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu and Amri Syahnawi/Nita Violina Marwah, as Indonesia aims for a strong overall showing in Birmingham.
