President Prabowo Forms New Presidential Advisory Council Team

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated 26 members of the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres) at the State Palace in Jakarta on Friday, October 2, 2026. Pratikno was appointed as Chair, while Hatta Rajasa was named Vice Chair.

The ceremony began at around 3:30 p.m. local time, with President Prabowo arriving accompanied by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. Proceedings opened with the national anthem Indonesia Raya, followed by the reading of Presidential Decree No. 107/P of 2026 on the appointment of Wantimpres members.

After the decree was read, President Prabowo led the oath of office, which was recited collectively by all newly appointed members. “Before God, I pledge to remain faithful to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and to uphold all laws and regulations with utmost integrity,” the President declared.

The ceremony continued with the signing of the inauguration minutes by Pratikno in the presence of President Prabowo and concluded with congratulations from the President and several ministers.

In addition to Pratikno and Hatta Rajasa, Muhammad Qodari was appointed Secretary of Wantimpres. Other members come from diverse backgrounds, including religious leaders, academics, business figures, former state officials, and professionals.
