RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – Indonesia's Finance Minister, Suahasil Nazara, said the State Budget (APBN) and Danantara will enhance their collaboration through a clear division of roles to maintain and strengthen the national economy.

“Danantara and the state budget will collaborate and share responsibilities to help maintain Indonesia’s economy,” Suahasil said in a statement after attending a limited meeting chaired by President Prabowo Subianto at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

He further explained that the state budget will continue to be directed toward financing public services, basic infrastructure, and government operations. Meanwhile, Danantara will handle investments as part of efforts to strengthen economic management. According to Suahasil, the division of roles was among the issues discussed during the meeting with the President, including investment needs to be handled by Danantara.

“The state budget finances public services, basic infrastructure, and government operations. Meanwhile, Danantara focuses on investment, with investment playing a very strong role at Danantara. Earlier, we discussed extensively the synergies that we need to pursue together,” he said.

On the occasion, Suahasil also reported the completion of the 2027 Draft State Budget (RAPBN) process, which was agreed upon with the House of Representatives (DPR) on September 29, 2026. State revenues in the 2027 Draft State Budget are projected to exceed Rp3,400 trillion, while state spending is projected to exceed Rp4,100 trillion.

President Prabowo, Suahasil said, instructed the government to maintain the credibility of the state budget through measurable budget efficiency. The efficiency measures are aimed at ensuring that state funds are utilized optimally for public welfare, social protection, and infrastructure development.
