RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Indonesian Military (TNI) holds the TNI Fair at the Monas Field in Jakarta from September 19 to 20, 2026, as part of celebrations marking the 81st anniversary of the TNI. The event features a range of activities for the public, including a military equipment exhibition, free healthcare services, and free food distribution.

Head of the TNI Information Center, Major General Muhammad Nas, said the TNI Fair is one of the ways the TNI demonstrates its presence alongside the public. Various activities have been prepared to allow visitors to interact with the military and take part in the two-day event.

“This shows that the TNI is here for the people, that the TNI stands together with the people, and demonstrates our commitment to always being there for the community,” Muhammad Nas said at the Monas Field in Jakarta, Saturday, September 19, 2026.

As part of the free healthcare services, visitors can access blood donation services, general medical checkups, dental examinations, circumcision, cataract surgery, and cleft lip surgery. The TNI is also conducting online, real-time psychological assessments targeting 8,100 participants, as well as providing basic life skills training for students and members of the public.

The military equipment exhibition is another major part of the TNI Fair, showcasing various military technology research and development projects from the Indonesian Army, Navy, and Air Force. Visitors are also allowed to try some TNI equipment, as long as the activities do not pose any safety risks.

“We want to show that the TNI and the people are united. That is our greatest strength. That is why people are free to come in, watch, and try the equipment owned by the TNI, as long as it is safe,” he conveyed.

In addition to the activities at Monas, several military assets are also displayed during a sailing pass or naval parade on October 4, 2026. Muhammad Nas said the Italian Navy aircraft carrier Garibaldi and Rafale fighter jets are among the military assets that will be featured in the event.

The TNI provided around 15,000 free meal packages on Saturday, with the number increasing to 30,000 on Sunday. The meals are prepared by TNI field kitchens and sourced from micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), while around 6,000 portions are being prepared by culinary YouTuber Bobon Santoso. On the first day, the TNI recorded around 6,000 visitors and expects attendance to increase on the second day with the TNI Run and fun walk.
