Govt Reaffirms Commitment to Fighting Corruption and Protecting State Finance

RRI.CO.ID, Bali - President Prabowo Subianto, has reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to combating misconduct and corruption while ensuring that all state assets and national wealth are managed honestly and to the greatest possible benefit of the people.
The President said all forms of misconduct and corruption must be fought to the root as part of efforts to stop leakages in state finances.
“Misconduct and corruption must be fought. They must be eradicated down to the root. We must have that determination,” the President said at the launch of the 100-gigawatt-peak (GWp) Solar Power Plant (PLTS) Program in Gilimanuk, Jembrana Regency, Bali, Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
He stressed that all state assets and national wealth must be managed responsibly, transparently, and in the interests of the people. According to the President, the various challenges facing Indonesia must be addressed through the state’s ability to be present and deliver tangible results for the public.
“All national assets, all national wealth must be managed as well as possible, as honestly as possible, based on patriotism, love for the country, love for the people, and a strong sense of responsibility,” he explained.
The Head of State said stopping financial leakages and safeguarding state finances would strengthen the Government’s capacity to implement development programs whose benefits can be directly felt by the public. He also highlighted improved performance among several state-owned enterprises (SOEs), which he said was closely linked to strong leadership and good corporate governance.
Prabowo reaffirmed that the Government would continue to improve the management of state assets and finances so that national resources could be utilized optimally for the benefit of the people.
