Satu Indonesia Festival Enlivens RI’s 81st Independence Day

RRI.CO.ID, Tangerang — Paramount Gading Serpong is joining the celebrations of Indonesia’s 81st Independence Day through the “Satu Indonesia Festival” at Hampton Square in Tangerang, Banten. Running from August 8 to 30, 2026, the festival features a variety of activities for visitors of different ages.

The festival offers a range of activities, including live music performances, a children’s singing competition, interactive games, and creative activities for families. The program is part of the Independence Day celebrations and provides a space for families and communities to gather and enjoy the festive atmosphere.

One of the highlights is the Kids Singing Competition, scheduled for August 29, 2026. The competition is open to children aged five to 10, who can perform traditional Indonesian songs or national songs, with cash prizes, certificates, and souvenirs available for the winners.

The festival also features The Sound of Nusantara, a live music performance showcasing traditional Indonesian songs. The performances are scheduled for August 16 and 23 at 5 p.m. local time, bringing Indonesian musical and cultural elements into the Independence Day celebrations.

Visitors can also enjoy various family-oriented activities, including face painting and interactive games at the Games Corner. The games include Falling Sticks, Ring Toss, and Sandbag Throw.

The festival also features the Merdeka Pop-Up Market, offering discounts of up to 81 percent from participating tenants. Among the participating brands are ANQA, Bateeq, Bateeq Home, Everyday, Major Minor, and Re-Store.

The 81st Independence Day celebrations also extended to BEZ Auto Center at Paramount Gading Serpong on August 18, 2026, with a flag-raising ceremony and traditional Independence Day competitions. The series of activities highlights how the Independence Day momentum can bring families and communities together through shared experiences and celebrations.
