RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Chief of Air Staff (Kasau), Air Marshal TNI M. Tonny Harjono emphasized that the success of the implementation of the Air Force's programs and budget is measured by the high level of budget absorption. He also said it is also measured by the quality of the results that can support operational readiness and provide real benefits to the organization.

Tonny conveyed this assertion while leading the Evaluation Meeting on Program and Budget Implementation and Follow-up on the Air Force Chief's Emphasis for the First Semester of the 2026 Fiscal Year at Mabesau, Cilangkap, East Jakarta, Tuesday, July 21, 2026.

In his direction, the Chief of Staff explained that the evaluation meeting is part of the organizational management cycle to ensure that all work programs and budgets run according to plan. "Evaluation also serves as the basis for determining improvement steps to enhance the effectiveness of program implementation in the next semester," he said.

He asked all heads of work units to continuously monitor the progress of work implementation, physical achievements, and the performance targets that have been set. "Every allocated budget must produce outputs that meet the organization's needs, support operational readiness, provide measurable benefits, and be accountable," he explained.

The results of the Semester I evaluation for the 2026 Fiscal Year are expected to serve as a foundation for improving program implementation in Semester II while also strengthening the implementation of the Work and Budget Program for the 2027 Fiscal Year.

Thru objective evaluations and consistent follow-ups, the Indonesian Air Force strives to strengthen the governance of programs and budgets that are effective, efficient, accountable, and oriented toward enhancing operational readiness.
