RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) held Proficient Dynamic Aerobatics Training for the EC-120 B Colibri helicopter in 2026. It is as an effort to enhance the professionalism and capabilities of helicopter crews in performing dynamic maneuvers in accordance with flight safety standards.

The training was opened by the Commander of the 2nd Helicopter Group, First Marshal TNI, R. Endri Kargono, representing the Assistant Operations Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Rear Marshal TNI, Suliono, at the Hangar of Squadron 7, Monday, July 20, 2026.

The speech of Assistant Operations Chief of Staff of the Air Force was read by First Marshal TNI R. Endri Kargono. He said that the training aims to enhance helicopter pilots' ability to master dynamic maneuvers safely, accurately, and in accordance with flight safety procedures.

"This program is expected to enhance the professionalism of helicopter crews while also strengthening the safety culture in every flight operation," as stated in the press release received by RRI on Tuesday, July 21, 2026.

In addition to enhancing the technical skills of pilots, this training is also aimed at producing display authorization as a guideline and operational standard for the future implementation of TNI AU helicopter airshows.

The Assistant Operations of the Air Force Chief of Staff also reminded all participants to follow each stage of the training with discipline, a learning spirit, and to make a safety culture a top priority. According to him, the success of the training is not only determined by individual ability but also by teamwork, effective communication, and adherence to safety procedures.

The Proficient Dynamic Aerobatics EC-120 B Colibri Training for 2026 is scheduled to take place over three weeks, from July 20 to August 7, 2026, as part of the Indonesian Air Force's efforts to enhance human resource competencies in the field of helicopter aviation.
