RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) continues to reinforce organizational readiness thru the improvement of human resources quality, refinement of doctrine, and the implementation of continuous training to face the ever-evolving dynamics of the strategic environment.

The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal TNI M. Tonny Harjono, made the statement during the Monthly Flag Ceremony at the Air Force Headquarters Parade Ground, Cilangkap, East Jakarta, on Monday, July 20, 2026. He expressed appreciation to all soldiers and civil servants (ASN) of the Indonesian Air Force for their dedication, loyalty, and professionalism during the first semester of 2026.

He also mentioned various operations, training, education, and development programs were successfully carried out thanks to the performance of all personnel. "That achievement becomes an important asset to enhance the readiness of the Indonesian Air Force in facing increasingly dynamic task demands," he said.

He also affirmed that the government's commitment to strengthening air defense is realized thru the handover of various main weapon system equipment by the President of the Republic of Indonesia. According to him, this trust must be matched with the ability to operate, maintain, and utilize each defense equipment professionally in order to strengthen the country's deterrent defense capability.

"We must respond to that trust by ensuring that every piece of military equipment entrusted to the Indonesian Air Force can be operated, maintained, and utilized professionally, thereby providing an increasingly strong deterrent for the nation's defense," Tonny said..

In addition to enhancing personnel capabilities and strengthening defense equipment, the Air Force Chief of Staff underscored the importance of implementing the Swa Bhuwana Paksa Doctrine thru continuous training. He also reminded all personnel to strengthen digital discipline to maintain information security as part of professionalism and national defense readiness.

Thru the strengthening of human resources, doctrine, training, and information security governance, the Indonesian Air Force hopes to continuously enhance the organization's readiness in maintaining the sovereignty of Indonesia's airspace.
