RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency speeds up the implementation of strategic programs in the second semester of 2026. This step was taken to strengthen the national economic structure based on a people's economy, economic justice, and inclusive public welfare.

This commitment is a direct response to President Prabowo Subianto's directive at the Plenary Cabinet Meeting at the State Palace, Jakarta, Monday, July 20, 2026. Addressing the Red and White Cabinet, the President emphasized that the national economic mandate must be based on the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia.

The President also highlighted the one-stop export system policy to optimize the country's foreign exchange. "The economy is structured as a joint effort based on the principle of family and should not be considered a slogan or beautiful rhetoric," the President said.

The Ministry of Creative Economy considers this macro policy strategic in encouraging downstreaming and transparency in exports of products from 21 creative economy sub-sectors to the global market. "We are also establishing a one-stop export system so the country knows how much is exported, who it is sold to, at what actual prices, and how much foreign exchange should be returned to Indonesia. That is the goal," the President said.

Following up on this strategic directive, Minister of Creative Economy Teuku, Riefky Harsya, accompanied by Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene Umar, stated his agency's readiness to accelerate three flagship programs: Creative Village Activation, Creative Hub Activation, and Creative by Indonesia. "We will make the most of each program to radiate creative energy that continues to provide real benefits to the creative ecosystem in Indonesia," he said.

These programs will be strengthened through government assistance and institutional strengthening at the regional level. "The Ministry of Creative Economy consistently presents programs that provide opportunities for collaboration, consolidation, and acceleration to ensure the creative economy grows and is directly felt by the community as the new engine of growth," Riefky stated.

The Ministry of Creative Economy's optimism is supported by data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), which records the sector's impressive performance. As of March 2026, creative economy exports contributed 11.8 percent to total national non-oil and gas exports, with realized investment reaching IDR 61.33 trillion.

This achievement is considered a new driving force in job creation and increasing Gross Domestic Product (GDP). "Going forward, we will maintain our program's focus on public welfare, strengthen synergies, and ensure that every step we take is impact-oriented," the Minister said.
