RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) strengthens accountable organizational governance and risk-based management thru the Socialization of Risk Management and Technical Guidance on Filling Out the Self-Assessment of the Government Internal Control System (SPIP) for the Central Executive Agency Work Unit of the Air Force in Jakarta, Wednesday, July 15, 2026.

The activity organized by the Air Force Planning and Budgeting Staff aims to enhance the understanding of work units in effectively, consistently, and in accordance with applicable regulations implementing risk management and SPIP.

The Deputy Assistant for Planning and Budget of the Indonesian Air Force, Rear Marshal Ian Fuady, stated that the implementation of risk management integrated with SPIP has become a strategic instrument in supporting bureaucratic reform and realizing effective, efficient, transparent, and results-oriented organizational governance.

"Risk Management is not merely an administrative requirement, but a part of the decision-making process within the organization. With good Risk Management, each work unit can identify potential obstacles early on, establish appropriate mitigation steps, and ensure that the organization's goals can be achieved optimally," Rear Marshal Ian Fuady said in his written statement on Thursday, July 16, 2026.

Thru this activity, TNI AU work units are expected to have a shared understanding of the implementation of SPIP and risk management. The implementation of this system is considered important to support the creation of a professional, accountable, and adaptive TNI AU organization in facing various challenges.

The socialization and technical guidance featured a speaker from the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), Ari Andar Wulan, who presented material on the Filling of the Independent Assessment of SPIP for the TNI AU Balakpus Work Unit for the 2026 Fiscal Year.

This activity is part of the TNI AU's efforts to strengthen internal control and ensure that every program and organizational activity runs in accordance with the principles of good governance.
