RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - House of Representatives (DPR RI) Commission XII has commended the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) for its financial management performance in Fiscal Year 2025. The appreciation was conveyed during a working meeting between Commission XII and Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Yuliot at the Nusantara I Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, on Thursday, July 16, 2026.

The meeting discussed the Central Government Financial Report (LKPP) for the 2025 State Budget (APBN). Chairperson of Commission XII, Bambang Patijaya, stated that the Ministry's budget management performance in 2025 demonstrated a positive trend compared with previous years, particularly when compared with its 2023 performance.

"Overall, we believe that the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has performed well in managing its Fiscal Year 2025 budget. Compared with previous years, especially in 2023 when the Ministry received a qualified opinion, the improvement is evident," Bambang said as quoted by dpr.go.id.

He affirmed that Commission XII supports the Ministry's efforts to ensure that the budget, which has been jointly advocated by the Commission and the Government, is utilized responsibly, transparently, and efficiently.

"We appreciate the Ministry's performance and support the proper use of the budget that we have worked together to secure. It must be managed responsibly, with accountability and efficiency," he conveyed.

Bambang added that the effective use of the budget also supports the Government's energy security agenda, which remains one of its key priorities in the electricity, energy, and fuel sectors.

Based on the presentation delivered by the Ministry during the meeting, the Ministry received an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) from the State Audit Board (BPK) for five consecutive years from 2018 to 2022. It received a Qualified Opinion (WDP) in 2023 before regaining an Unqualified Opinion in 2024. The official audit opinion from BPK for Fiscal Year 2025 has not yet been formally released.
