RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesia is accelerating the digital transformation of its employment services as part of broader efforts to modernize public administration and improve access to government services. The initiative aims to deliver employment services that are faster, more transparent, and better tailored to the needs of workers and businesses.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Manpower in Jakarta on Tuesday, 7 July 2026, Vice Minister of Manpower, Afriansyah Noor, said digital transformation has become a strategic pillar in strengthening employment services nationwide. He noted that the ministry is committed to ensuring public services remain accessible, efficient, and responsive amid rapid technological change.

Afriansyah said the ministry is implementing the policy through expanded digital services, improved human resource capacity, stronger bureaucratic governance, and wider collaboration with stakeholders. These measures are intended to create a more integrated and citizen-centered employment service system.

“Transforming public services is an inseparable part of our efforts to deliver higher-quality employment services that are capable of meeting the evolving needs of society,” he said. He added that innovation must continue to accompany institutional reforms to ensure sustainable improvements in service delivery.

The Vice minister stressed that public trust depends on the quality of services rather than promises made by the government. “Public services are the face of the state before its people. Public trust is built through services that are fast, accessible, transparent, responsive, and provide tangible benefits,” he said.

Afriansyah also highlighted the importance of good governance as the foundation for an effective and adaptive public administration. He said government institutions must continuously transform in response to technological advances, changing public expectations, and increasingly complex economic conditions.

He affirmed that innovation in public services should go hand in hand with stronger integrity, accountability, and professionalism across government institutions. According to him, these principles are essential for maintaining public confidence while improving the overall quality of public administration.

The Vice minister called on ministries, government agencies, regional administrations, businesses, and other public service providers to strengthen a work culture based on integrity, innovation, collaboration, and measurable results. He expressed confidence that such collective efforts would enhance Indonesia’s competitiveness while supporting the country's goal of becoming a more advanced, inclusive, and prosperous nation.
