RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Entering the 71st operational day of the 1447 H/2026 AD Hajj pilgrimage, Tuesday, June 30, 2026, the Ministry of Hajj is focusing its attention on serving the approximately five percent of Indonesian pilgrims still in Medina. Although most pilgrims have returned home, the Ministry of Hajj affirmed its commitment to continue overseeing the service process until the last pilgrim arrives safely in Indonesia.

Mother of Hajj Spokesperson, Maria Assegaff, stated that all services in Medina remain fully operational, from accommodation and meals to transportation, healthcare, and even worship guidance. "The Ministry of Hajj's commitment to service remains undiminished even though Hajj operations have entered their final phase," she stated in Jakarta.

As part of improving service quality, officials from the Medina Working Area have also completed the issuance of Tasreh Raudhah (Islamic prayer certificates) for all eligible pilgrims. To date, 165,486 Raudhah Tasrehs have been issued, consisting of 54,506 for the first wave of pilgrims and 110,980 for the second wave.

Meanwhile, the repatriation process continues. As of the 71st day, 509 groups have departed for Indonesia, consisting of 267 groups via King Abdul Aziz International Airport, Jeddah, and 242 groups via Prince Mohammad bin Abdul Aziz International Airport, Medina. A total of 194,319 pilgrims and 2,011 staff have returned to Indonesia.

In Indonesia, some repatriation processes are still ongoing. Disembarkation flights in Banten, Medan, Lombok, Padang, Palembang, and Aceh have completed all pilgrim repatriations. Meanwhile, the Balikpapan, Batam, Banjarmasin, Jakarta Pondok Gede, Bekasi, Kertajati, Solo, Surabaya, Makassar, and Yogyakarta debarkation points are still serving returning pilgrims until July 1, 2026.

Maria encouraged all pilgrims who have returned to Indonesia to continue maintaining their health during their recovery period and to uphold the values of Hajj (clearance) in their daily lives. "We hope that the Hajj (clearance) will not remain a personal achievement, but rather become a force for bringing broader benefits," Maria said.
