RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto emphasized that security stability, legal certainty, and public trust are the main foundations for Indonesia's development. He made the statement while leading the 80th Bhayangkara Day commemoration ceremony at the Brimob Training Unit, Bogor, West Java, on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.

In his address, the President said that Indonesia is undergoing a major transformation in various sectors amidst the challenging global dynamics. According to him, national development can only proceed if it is supported by security stability, law enforcement, and professional state apparatus.

"It is impossible to have prosperity without stability. It is impossible to have development without security. It is impossible to have economic growth without legal certainty," Prabowo said.

The President also appreciated the role of the National Police in maintaining national security and supporting various strategic government programs, such as food security, disaster management, and the Free Nutritious Meal Program. However, he reminded that the challenges ahead are becoming increasingly complex, ranging from narcotics, online gambling, cybercrime, to corruption and various other forms of economic crime.

To all members of the National Police, the President advised them to always maintain public trust and prioritize service to the people in every execution of their duties.

"Maintain the trust of the people. Because trust is the strongest weapon of a police officer. Be a police officer who is close to the people." Come when the people need you. Listen to the people, serve the people, protect the people," he said.

The President also urged the National Police to continuously improve professionalism, master science and technology, strengthen synergy with all elements of the nation, and uphold the law fairly to maintain national stability and realize an advanced, modern, and prosperous Indonesia.
