Purbaya Supports Collaboration to Accelerate the 3 Million Homes Program

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesia's Minister of Finance, Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, expressed his appreciation for the business community's commitment to supporting the 3 Million Homes Development and Renovation Program through the handover of a land grant by PT Lippo Cikarang Tbk. to the Government of the Republic of Indonesia. According to the Minister, this collaboration represents a concrete manifestation of the synergy between the government and the private sector in supporting one of the President's priority agendas, Asta Cita (Asta Cita).

In his remarks at the Land Grant Commitment Signing Ceremony at Wisma Danantara, Jakarta, on Monday, June 29, 2026, Purbaya stated that the 3 million homes development and renovation program is a strategic government effort to expand public access to adequate housing while simultaneously improving community welfare. "This program aims to expand public access to adequate housing while strengthening community welfare," the Minister said.

Specifically, the Minister of Finance appreciated the Lippo Group's commitment to handing over approximately 30 hectares of land in the Meikarta area to the government. He stated that this step reflects the spirit of mutual cooperation between the government and the business community in supporting national development.

The Minister of Finance further explained that the donated assets are planned to become state capital investment in the Danantara Investment Management Agency (BPI), to be managed through sound business processes so that their utilization can support the 3 Million Homes Program without burdening the State Budget.

He also emphasized the Ministry of Finance's commitment to expediting the completion of various administrative stages and coordination across ministries/agencies so that the donated land can be utilized promptly. "This commitment is a concrete manifestation of the synergy and spirit of mutual cooperation between the business world and the government in developing the nation," the Minister said.

In its implementation, the entire grant process will be carried out in accordance with statutory provisions while prioritizing the principles of good governance, transparency, and prudence. The Ministry of Finance will collaborate with the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP), the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), and Danantara Indonesia, with oversight from the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) and the Attorney General's Office, to ensure the entire process runs professionally.
