424 Graduates of A-49 Command Education Officially Reinforce Korpasgat

RRI.CO.ID, Garut - A total of 424 soldiers officially donned the orange beret after completing the A-49 Commando Education, marking an increase in the personnel strength of the Air Force's Quick Reaction Force Command Corps (Korpasgat).

The graduation ceremony for 424 graduates of the A-49 Command Education, who have completed the entire education program, was led by the Commander of the Quick Reaction Force Corps (Pangkorpasgat), Vice Marshal TNI Deny Muis, at Santolo Beach, Garut, Thursday, June 25, 2026.

The ceremony also serves as a symbol of the affirmation of the soldiers' success in passing thru all stages of education that demand physical, mental, and professional resilience.

In his address, Vice Marshal TNI Deny Muis, congratulated all former students who have successfully completed the Commando Course Education. He conveyed that the orange beret pinned on is not merely a symbol of pride, but a mandate that must be upheld with full responsibility, dedication, and loyalty to the Air Force, the nation, and the state.

"Be a tough, disciplined, and character-driven soldier of the Korpasgat Command who can serve as a role model within the unit and the community." Maintain the fighting spirit that has been forged during your training as a preparation to face various future task challenges," the Pangkorpasgat said in a press release received by VOI RRI on Monday, June 29, 2026.

Among all the soldiers who underwent training, the title of best graduate was awarded to 2nd Lt. Muhammad Zaki Rahman from the 464th Paratrooper Battalion.

The addition of 424 new commandos is expected to further strengthen personnel regeneration while also enhancing the professionalism of Korpasgat in supporting the execution of various tasks of the Indonesian Air Force.
