RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto emphasized that the government remains open to public input, including opinions expressed through social media. He stressed that any feedback aimed at resolving public issues will be considered and acted upon.

The President said that proposals are drawn not only from academics and universities but also from communities across the regions.

“Never mind suggestions from professors. Even a child in a village who reaches me directly via TikTok or any other platform, I will follow up immediately,” President Prabowo said at the closing of the National Symposium of the Indonesian Science, Technology, and Industry Convention (KSTI) in Jakarta on Sunday, June 28, 2026.

He noted that openness to input is part of the government’s commitment to addressing issues transparently. “We must have the courage to face difficulties, the courage to acknowledge them, and work hard to find solutions,” he said.

President Prabowo also highlighted the role of technology, which enables the government to respond more quickly to community concerns. “Technology allows us to resolve difficulties in a single village -- for example, in Nias -- immediately,” he said.

However, he cautioned that technology carries risks if not used properly. “So, my fellow citizens, it is the professors and scholars who must delve deeper into this,” President Prabowo added. (Gusti Panji)
