Lanud Sultan Hasanuddin Distributes Humanitarian Aid to Palu Earthquake Victims

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Sultan Hasanuddin Air Force Base distributed humanitarian aid to the community affected by the earthquake in Palu, Central Sulawesi, as a manifestation of the Indonesian Air Force's concern in helping to alleviate the burden of residents post-disaster.
The symbolic handover of aid was conducted to the Deputy Regent of Parigi Moutong, Abdul Sahid, at the Parigi Moutong BPBD Office, Thursday, June 26, 2026.
The assistance provided includes various essential needs required by the affected community, such as rice, instant noodles, cooking oil, eggs, and tarpaulins to support temporary housing needs for the earthquake-affected residents.
The Commander of Sultan Hasanuddin Air Force Base, Colonel Vincentius Endy Hadi Putra, stated that the assistance is a manifestation of empathy and concern from the extended family of Sultan Hasanuddin Air Force Base toward the community that is facing difficult times due to natural disasters.

"The disaster that has occurred is certainly a sorrow for all of us." Thru this assistance, we want to show that the Indonesian Air Force is always present and cares for the community in need. We hope this assistance can lighten the burden of the affected residents while also providing encouragement to rise and resume their activities as before," he said.
According to him, the distribution of aid is part of Lanud Sultan Hasanuddin's commitment to carrying out humanitarian missions and strengthening social concern for the community.
The assistance provided is expected to fulfill the basic needs of the residents while also supporting the acceleration of post-disaster recovery in the Central Sulawesi region.
