President Invites the Public to Vote for the Logo of the 81st Anniversary

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta- President Prabowo has opened the door for public participation in selecting the logo for the 81st anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia. Today, the Ministry of Creative Economy, the Ministry of State Secretariat, and the Government Communications Agency launched a poll link for the 2026 Indonesian Independence Day logo.

"This year marks a new milestone in determining the Indonesian Independence Day logo. For the first time in history, under the direction of the President, the public is actively involved in determining the logo through a public polling mechanism running from today, June 24 to 28, 2026," Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya said.

The public can learn about the concept and philosophy and vote for their preferred logo at https://logohutri.istanapresiden.go.id/. The featured logo designs represent the five best works by professional graphic designers from various regions in Indonesia, which have gone through a series of curation processes involving the Ministry of Creative Economy, the Ministry of State Secretariat, and the Indonesian Graphic Designers Association (ADGI). Each work presents a diverse visual interpretation of the theme of this year's Indonesian Independence Day commemoration.

Minister of Creative Economy explained that the logo competition for the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia had previously attracted 124 participants from various regions across the country. Throughout the process, the Ministry of Creative Economy played a role in encouraging the participation of national creative talent.

Even, it also ensured a professional curation process, ultimately selecting the five best finalist designers, who can now be voted on directly by the public. According to a released received by RRI Voice of Indonesia on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, the five logo candidates were the work of professional graphic designers from various regions: David Wirawan (Surakarta), Fajar Novario (Padang), Kanda Putra (Denpasar), Riskiawan (Malang), and Tiffany Djohan (Batam).

Meanwhile, Vice Minister of State Secretary, Juri Ardiantoro, stated that in addition to launching the logo poll, the government had also established an official theme for the 81st Anniversary of Indonesian Independence: "Indonesia Berdaulat, Adil, dan Makmur."

He affirmed that public involvement in the logo selection process was a direct directive from President Prabowo Subianto to ensure that the commemoration of independence belongs to all Indonesians. Juri also added that as a token of appreciation for the community participation, the committee has prepared various attractive prizes for the 300 selected participants.

These prizes include 100 invitations to attend the Commemoration Ceremony of the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence, 100 official souvenir packages, and 100 educational grants.
