RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency is collaborating with Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH) and Adobe through the ECHOES X GENSi program to raise awareness of the creative economy and empower young digital talent, particularly among Indonesian students and young people.
ECHOES (Ekraf Creates Harmony on the Education Sector) is a Ministry of Creative Economy program that introduces the creative economy ecosystem and strengthens the capacity of students. Meanwhile,
GENSi (Generasi Terhubung) is Indosat's youth empowerment platform that helps young people leverage digital and technological opportunities to create real impact.
"We appreciate the initiative of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison and Adobe in collaborating with the government, the technology industry, the education sector, the media, and the creator community to accelerate globally competitive digital creative talent," the Minister of Creative Economy said at the program launch at the Indosat Marvelous Xperience Center in Jakarta on Monday, June 15, 2026.
He stated that Indonesia has succeeded in significantly expanding digital access over the past decade. The current challenge is no longer simply access to technology, but rather how to build creative capabilities and empower the younger generation to create added value in the digital era.
"Indonesian youth possess extraordinary creativity. In line with President Prabowo's Asta Cita (Asta Cita), the creative economy is becoming a new engine of national growth. Through this collaboration, we want to equip the younger generation with creative skills and the use of AI so they can produce value-added works, create business opportunities, and be ready to compete globally," added the Minister of Creative Economy.
According to a release received by RRI Voice of Indonesia on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 that this collaboration also opens up opportunities for synergy with the Ministry of Creative Economy's three flagship programs for 2027: Creative Village Activation, Creative Hub Activation, and Creative by Indonesia, to encourage local heroes to go national and national champions to go global.
With the support of Indosat and Adobe, ECHOES serves as a channel for introducing creative tools and AI-based learning to the younger generation.
Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison President Director and Chief Executive Officer, Vikram Sinha, stated that Indonesia possesses abundant talent and creativity.
"What many young people need today is access to the right tools, skills, and opportunities to bring their ideas to life. By combining the power of AI, creativity, and collaboration, we want to help the next generation of creators develop their full potential and make a real impact on themselves and their surrounding communities," he said.
After successfully equipping more than 10,000 Indonesian youth through digital literacy and creative learning programs, this year,
GENSi aims to reach 15,000 young people across Indonesia. Adobe supports this by providing technology, training, monetization opportunities, premium access to Adobe Express, and Adobe Digital Academy learning materials translated into Indonesian.
Adobe's President for Japan and the Asia Pacific (JAPAC), Ben Goodman, believes Indonesia has a large young population, a strong creative culture, and a strategic position in the development of technology and AI.
He believes the partnership between Adobe, Indosat, and the Ministry of Creative Economy aims to ensure Indonesia is at the forefront of the global creative economy.
