Garuda Pancasila Flies at the Natuna Border to Welcome the Birth of Pancasila 2026

RRI.CO.ID, Natuna – The spirit of the Birth of Pancasila 2026 was manifested thru the action of hoisting the State Emblem Garuda Pancasila at several strategic points in the border area of Natuna Regency, Riau Islands. The event organized by Raden Sadjad (RSA) Air Base in collaboration with the Natuna Search and Rescue Office (Basarnas) became a symbol of national unity as well as a commitment to maintaining the sovereignty of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) on Indonesia's front porch.

The series of activities began with the hoisting of the Garuda Pancasila State Emblem on Senua Island, Natuna, on Friday, May 29, 2026. The event was directly led by the Commander of RSA Air Base, First Marshal TNI Onesmus Gede Rai Aryadi, along with the Head of the Natuna Search and Rescue Office, Abdul Rahman, and involved 43 combined personnel from RSA Air Base and Basarnas Natuna.

Pulau Senua was chosen because it is one of Indonesia's outermost islands located in the North Natuna Sea region. The hoisting of the Garuda Pancasila with the motto Bhinneka Tunggal Ika at that location becomes a symbol of the strong national unity in the border area.

The spirit of nationalism then continued at the Tanjung Datuk Geosite on Saturday, May 30, 2026. In a collaborative event involving Lanud RSA, Basarnas Natuna, Yon Arhanud 14 Pasgat, BMKG Natuna, and LPP RRI Ranai, the joint team unfurled a giant billboard of Garuda Pancasila with the theme "Pancasila Unites the Nation, Foundation of World Peace."

Geosite Tanjung Datuk was chosen because it has strategic value as one of Natuna's premier destinations facing directly onto the North Natuna Sea. In addition to offering a distinctive natural panorama, the area also holds significant geological and historical value for Indonesia's border region.

The peak of the series of activities took place on Sunday, May 31, 2026, thru the ascent of Mount Ranai, the highest mountain in Natuna Regency. The combined team of Lanud RSA and Basarnas Natuna brought the Garuda Pancasila State Emblem to the summit as a form of respect for the state foundation and an effort to revive the spirit of nationalism in Indonesia's frontier region.

The release of the climbing team was conducted directly by the Commander of RSA Air Base and the Head of the Natuna Search and Rescue Office at the foot of Mount Ranai. The climb also involved personnel from the Air Base, Basarnas Natuna, and female personel of SAR Natuna, who demonstrated a spirit of dedication, professionalism, and equality in safeguarding the nation's sovereignty.

The Commander of Lanud RSA stated that the entire series of activities is a tangible manifestation of the implementation of Pancasila values and a means to foster a sense of love for the homeland among personnel stationed in border areas.
