RRI.CO.OD, Jakarta - Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, stated that content creators are becoming an essential part of realizing the creative economy as Indonesia’s new engine of growth. Speaking at the Folago All Stars event themed “Empowering The New Creative Economy” at Indonesia Stock Exchange on Monday, May 25, 2026, he emphasized the importance of encouraging regional creative potential to grow into national strengths capable of reaching global markets.

“Through Folago All Stars, we see that content creators have become part of the new engine of growth. The ministry’s main task is to encourage local heroes to become national champions capable of going global. If our culture is the upstream source, then creative products enriched with innovation, technology, and creativity become the downstream output. That is where the creative industry exists,” Teuku Riefky said in an official statement.

The Minister also highlighted the acceleration of Indonesia’s creative economy digitalization through stronger collaboration between the government, industry, communities, and businesses. According to him, the event serves as a strategic synergy platform to expand promotion, marketing, and branding access while improving the competitiveness of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through digital media, entertainment industries, and the national creative economy ecosystem.

“The private sector has a major opportunity to embrace communities and indirectly become a bridge for MSME digitalization. The impact benefits not only ecosystems and communities, but also the country as a whole,” he added.
