FSAI Masterclass Presents Andrew Commis

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Australia Indonesia film festival or better known as Festival Sinema Australia Indonesia (FSAI) is held again this year. Taking the best Australian and Indonesia contemporerary film, FSAI presens in 11 Cities in Indonesia.

In a masterclass held on Friday, May 8, 2026 in Jakarta, FSAI presents an award-winning Director of photography/Cinematographer, Andrew Commis. He presented his latest work "Force of Nature : Dry 2".

Met after the event, Andrew said that he likes the enthusiasm of Indonesian people for film. He hope that FSAI can provide knowledge on Australian film and culture.

Meanwhile, Australian Ambassador to Indonesia, Rod Brazier, said that FSAI bring stories of Australian and Indonesian to strengthen cultural understanding through film and celebrate creative industry partnership of both countries.

Meanwhile, First secretary, public diplomacy Kris Maslin on Friday, May 8, 2026, conveyed that this year FSAI holds screen on green for the first time in Kebun Raya Bogor.

Kris added that FSAI wants to give different experience for the audience to watch a film with beautiful garden view.

This year FSAI is held in Jakarta, Manado, Makassar, Semarang, Medan, Surabaya, Banjarmasin, Bogor, Yogyakarta, Kupang and Mataram, presenting five Australian films and two film made by Australian Alumni in Indonesia along with four Indonesian short film.
