RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesian Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Jordan to Indonesia, H.E. Sudqi Al Omoush, at the Ministry of Defense Office in Jakarta on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. The meeting was held to strengthen bilateral friendship and enhance defense cooperation between the two countries.
During the talks, both sides discussed several defense agendas, including military education, interagency collaboration, and opportunities to expand defense resource capacity.
“In this meeting, we discussed several defense cooperation agendas, such as military education, interagency cooperation, and opportunities to increase the capacity of defense resources between the two countries,” Minister Sjafrie said, as quoted on the ministry’s official website.
Indonesia welcomed Jordan’s commitment to supporting the professionalism of Indonesian Military (TNI) soldiers through concrete and mutually beneficial cooperation.
On that occasion, Minister Sjafrie was accompanied by the Inspector General of the Ministry of Defense, the Head of the Defense Agency, and Major General Bagus Suryadi Tayo. Ambassador Sudqi Al Omoush was accompanied by the Jordanian Defense Attaché. ***
