RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Group 1 Transport conducted Air Force Level 2 Training as a continuation of the previous training, focusing on enhancing air transport operational readiness thru more complex and realistic scenarios.
In a press statement received by RRI VOI on Thursday, May 7, 2026, the training that took place from April 27 to May 5, 2026, used a mission-oriented training approach, which is a training pattern based on mission scenarios tailored to the demands of air operation tasks.
Thru this approach, the training participants, especially the pilot officers, are tested on their ability to plan and control missions as mission commanders thru the mission planning mechanism.
The training materials are conducted in an integrated manner, covering air operation support, evacuation, and humanitarian missions. This activity also involves synergy with related units to strengthen interoperability in the execution of air operations.
Commander of Transport Group 1, First Marshal TNI Ali Gusman, stated that this training aims not only to maintain and enhance operational readiness in supporting the implementation of Military Operations for War (OMP), but also to be relevant for Military Operations Other Than War (OMSP).
"The skills trained in this exercise are designed to be applied flexibly, both in the context of combat operations and humanitarian tasks, such as disaster relief, medical evacuation, and search and rescue operations," he said.
Thru this exercise, the operational readiness and professionalism of the soldiers are expected to improve, while also strengthening the interoperability between units in supporting effective, integrated, and responsive air operations.
