Hajj Day Seven: 34,657 Indonesian Pilgrims Depart, Services Optimized

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesia reported on the seventh day of the 1447H/2026 Hajj operations on Monday, April 27, 2026. The update highlights smooth departures and integrated services for pilgrims in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Indonesia stated operations are running orderly and well-coordinated. The Indonesian government continues improving services across sectors for pilgrims’ comfort and safety.

As of Sunday, April 26, 2026, a total of 34,657 Indonesian pilgrims have departed in 88 flight groups. Departures have proceeded on schedule with strong coordination among relevant institutions.

Meanwhile, 30,611 pilgrims have arrived in Madinah in an orderly and well-managed process. Upon arrival, pilgrims receive integrated services and are escorted directly to their hotels.

Priority services are provided for elderly pilgrims, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups. The process is supported by Hajj officers to ensure comfort, safety, and proper assistance.

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Maria Assegaf, delivered statement regarding the operational progress delivered to the public. It reflects the government’s commitment to ensuring quality services throughout the pilgrimage journey.

“Alhamdulillah, until the seventh day of Hajj operations, all processes have run orderly and smoothly. We ensure pilgrims receive the best services from departure to the Holy Land,” Maria Assegaff said.

The Indonesian government also ensures essential services such as health, accommodation, and meals run properly. These services are continuously optimized to support pilgrims during their stay in Saudi Arabia.

The government reaffirmed that pilgrims’ safety and comfort remain top priorities while addressing technical issues. It also emphasized a strict ban on any unauthorized charges imposed on pilgrims.
