President Prabowo Appoints Six New Officials in Cabinet Reshuffle

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated six new officials of the Red and White Cabinet at the State Palace in Central Jakarta on Monday, April 27, 2026. The inauguration was part of a cabinet reshuffle aimed at strengthening government performance.

During the ceremony, the President led the oath of office, underscoring the officials’ commitment to carry out their duties in accordance with the Constitution and laws.

“I swear by God that I will be loyal to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and will strictly enforce all laws and regulations in my service to the nation and state. In carrying out my duties, I will uphold the highest professional ethics. I will work to the best of my ability, with a full sense of responsibility,” President Prabowo declared, followed by the newly appointed officials.

Following the inauguration, President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka offered their congratulations. Ministers of the Red and White Cabinets also attended the ceremony.

The following officials were sworn in:

  • Muhammad Jumhur Hidayat as Minister of Environment/Head of the Environmental Management Agency
  • Hanif Faisol Nurofiq as Deputy Coordinating Minister for Food
  • Dudung Abdurachman as Chief of Presidential Staff
  • Muhammad Qodari as Head of the Government Communications Agency
  • Hasan Nasbi as Special Advisor to the President for Communications
  • Abdul Kadir Karding as Head of the Indonesian Quarantine Agency

Muhammad Qodari was moved from his previous role as Chief of the Presidential Staff Office to Head of the Government Communications Agency, as part of a restructuring of the government’s communications system.

The position of Chief of Presidential Staff is now held by Dudung Abdurachman, who previously served as the President’s special advisor for national defense. Hasan Nasbi was appointed as special advisor for communications, a role expected to strengthen the government’s communication strategy.

Meanwhile, Abdul Kadir Karding returned to the cabinet as Head of the Indonesian Quarantine Agency. He previously served as Minister for the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers. (Misni Parjiati/Lasti Martina)
