RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency, Teuku Riefky Harsya, praised the adventure sports exhibition, Deep and Extreme Indonesia (DXI) 2026. He considered this exhibition a crucial opportunity to expand networks and strengthen the presence of local Indonesian brands, particularly in adventure, marine tourism, and diving.
"Deep and Extreme Indonesia plays a strategic role as a platform that connects the outdoor and adventure industries with the creative economy ecosystem. This is not just an exhibition, but a collaborative space where innovation thrives and the competitiveness of Indonesian creative products is strengthened," the Minister of Creative Economy stated after attending the DXI 2026 exhibition, held at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC), Senayan, Jakarta, on Wednesday, April 23, 2026.
The 18th DXI serves not only as a product exhibition but also as a strategic interaction space that brings together industry players, communities, local brands, and consumers. This interaction creates a dynamic ecosystem and opens up opportunities for cross-sector collaboration, directly impacting industry growth.
With over 137 exhibitors from within and outside the country, DXI 2026 provides a platform for local products to showcase their quality. This event also provides opportunities for creative businesses to expand their market access internationally.
"We see the enormous potential of local Indonesian outdoor products. Through platforms like DXI, we want to encourage local brands to elevate their ranks, strengthen their quality, and compete in the global market," the Minister said.
With the theme #DAREtoXPLORE: Waves of Collaboration, DXI 2026 presents a comprehensive experience for outdoor activity and extreme sports enthusiasts. A variety of activities, from underwater exploration to high-adrenaline sports, are presented in one integrated space that connects various communities and industry players.
"DXI is a meeting point for the ecosystem. When the government, industry, communities, and all stakeholders collaborate, the development of the creative economy will grow more rapidly and sustainably," said the Minister of Creative Economy.
Meanwhile, Rachadian Nashidik, Managing Director of Dyandra Event Solution, stated that DXI is an important platform for local products to gain wider market access. He also emphasized that the Ministry of Creative Economy's support is a key factor in opening expansion opportunities, including to international markets through coaching and facilitating sales access.
"Indonesia has many local creative products that could expand internationally. Therefore, we are here and want to work together with the government, especially the Ministry of Creative Economy, to make our products more widely known internationally," Rachadian conveyed.
According to a release received by RRI Voice of Indonesia on Thursday April 23, 2026, collaboration between the government and the ecosystem, involving industry, communities, academia, media, and investors, is a crucial foundation for driving the growth of the creative economy. This synergy enables sustainable innovation, increases human resource capacity, and accelerates the transformation of ideas into high-value products.
