RRI.CO.ID, East Jakarta - The Jakarta Provincial Government appreciates community contributions through a halalbihalal gathering event. Governor of Jakarta, Pramono Anung, delivered the statement in East Jakarta on Sunday, April 12, 2026.

The event was held at the East Jakarta Mayor’s Office building. He attended the 2026 Central Java Community Association gathering.

The event carried the theme “Together in Unity, Harmony Forever” for participants. It aimed to strengthen social ties and support sustainable development efforts.

He highlighted the significant presence of Central Java communities in Jakarta and surrounding regions. Their contributions have supported the city’s development and ongoing transformation process.

“Central Java communities in Jakarta and its surrounding areas are quite large and have contributed significantly to the development and progress of Jakarta, especially toward becoming a global city in the future,” he said.

Pramono noted that the event theme reflects strong unity within Jakarta’s diverse society. He expressed appreciation for the spirit of togetherness shown by all participants.

“I am grateful to attend this event. The tagline ‘Guyub Gayeng Salawase’ is very meaningful, and I add ‘migunani,’ which means beneficial. Hopefully, this togetherness truly brings benefits for Jakarta,” he said.

He emphasized that the Jakarta government will continue strengthening collaboration with various community groups. This includes migrant communities such as the Central Java association in Jakarta.

These efforts aim to maintain harmony, tolerance, and strong social cohesion. Such values are essential to support Jakarta’s vision as a future global city.The city aspires to be inclusive, livable, and sustainable for all residents. Community participation remains a key element in achieving long-term development goals.

The event was also attended by several senior figures and community leaders in Jakarta. These included Wiranto as Honorary Council of the association during the gathering.

Former Jakarta Governor, Sutiyoso, also attended the event with other officials. The occasion also included social initiatives to support vulnerable community groups in Jakarta.

Donations were distributed to 100 orphans through collaborative efforts with partner institutions. This reflects strong social solidarity and care within the community.

The Central Java Community Association, established in 1995, plays an important role in society. It serves as a platform for various social and educational activities across communities. The community continues contributing to harmony and development in Jakarta.
