National Library Launches Theme and Logo for its 46th Anniversary

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesian national library held a press conference on a theme and logo of its 46th anniversary at the National Library building in Jakarta on Monday, April 13, 2026

Carrying the theme “46 years of National Library: Caring for Libraries, Dignifying the Nation", the Library stated that managing sustanaible knowledge will boost literation growth.

This theme become the main narrative in a series of Perpusnas 46th anniversary and to direct Perpusnas public communication nationally.

Principal Secretary of National Library, Joko Santoso in Jakarta on Monday, April 13, 2026, conveyed that the Library openly provides this forum as a public space to inform media and people on the Library strategic position as an open, measureable and impacted.

He further said that the Library will always moving in any situation and ready to collaborate with many stakeholders because literation is one way to dignifying the nation.

Meanwhile, Deputy for library resource development, Adin Bondar, explain that during this budget eficiency, the Library has a strategy to maintain its service to the people. This include providing 2957books in 150 Sekolah Rakyat in Indonesia.

"In the last 2 years we also able to build 20 thousand library in many villages by working together with 21 universities and education ministry”, Adin said.

The 46th Perpusnas Anniversary Logo itself represents knowledge harmony through visual element integration that reflects institution journey, information access and literation growth.

It is also the mark to begin the series of anniversary festivities that will actually celebrate on May 17, 2026.
