RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The closing ceremony of the President’s Cup 2025 took place in a lively and energetic atmosphere in Jakarta, Sunday evening 12 April 2026. Held at Studio 8 SCTV Tower, the event marked the culmination of Indonesia’s most prestigious pre-season football tournament.

The ceremony began at 8:00 p.m. local time and was broadcast across national platforms, including Indosiar, Vidio, and official channels of PSSI. The presence of PSSIof PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir and Steering Committee Chairman, Maruarar Sirait, highlighted the tournament’s significance in the national football calendar.

“This is a collective success of a team that has worked hard for several months,” Maruarar said. “I would like to thank PSSI, Emtek, sponsors, and media partners who supported the President’s Cup 2025 to run smoothly and successfully.”

Beyond the on-field achievements, the tournament also recorded a positive financial outcome. It generated a net profit of approximately Rp16 billion and received an unqualified opinion from PricewaterhouseCoopers, one of the world’s leading professional services networks.

“Without the support of all stakeholders, we would not have achieved this unqualified opinion,” Maruarar added. He emphasized that trust within Indonesia’s football ecosystem remains crucial to the tournament’s continued success.

During the event, the organizing committee also presented awards to media participants with a total prize pool of Rp210 million. The prizes were distributed across several categories, including winners, runners-up, and honorable mentions.

The closing night concluded with high enthusiasm and a festive atmosphere. Performances by Faris Adam, Tasya DA7, and Valen DA7 further energized the audience.

They performed popular Eastern Indonesian songs such as “Stecu-Stecu” and “Tabola-Bale,” bringing the celebration to a vibrant finale. The event reflected not only the success of the tournament but also the growing appeal of football entertainment in Indonesia.
