RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto, appreciated the fighter pilots or Elang Muda of the Indonesian Air Force ( TNI AU) while in the cockpit of the Indonesian Presidential Aircraft One, during the 80th anniversary of the Indonesian Air Force on Thursday, April 9, 2026.

"I am Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, once again on behalf of all the people of Indonesia, we are proud of our Air Force, we are proud of the young eagles,"Prabowo conveyed while communicating via radio with the fighter jet pilot escorting him.

President Prabowo also conveyed his 80th birthday wishes to the ranks of the Indonesian Air Force. He hopes that the Indonesian Air Force will become even more glorious and possess a formidable strength in guarding the airspace.

"Long live the Indonesian Air Force, 'Swa Bhuwana Paksa', happy 80th anniversary, may the Indonesian Air Force continue to thrive and remain strong in defending the sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia in the air," Prabowo stated.

Previously, one of the fighter jet pilots escorting the Indonesian Presidential Aircraft One conveyed gratitude over the radio frequency for President Prabowo's commitment to strengthening air defense. The TNI AU personnel also requested blessings so that all soldiers are always given strength in carrying out their duties.

"We ask for your blessings so that we are always given strength in carrying out our duty of serving the nation and the state," the fighter said jet pilot to the President.
